English

Please ensure your child has completed their planning sheet for the “Adventure story” using one of the titles suggested. We will be writing these stories up on Friday morning, so everyone will need to have their planning with them.

It may also be a good idea to learn some adventurous spellings which could be included in the story.

Maths

Please complete ONE section of the “Finding fractions of numbers and quantities” sheet. Each pupil should find one of the sections appropriate for thier understanding.

As always, if there are any problems with homework, please feel free to get in touch.

On thursday 12th November we made victoria sponge cake our group turned out alright but bradley elliott’s group didn’t turn out as expected it was more like a jam tart everyone was saying it looked gorgeous . Some of the things we had to put the butter and flour in and mix till it was creamy then we had to put three egg’s in,dylan’s group put one egg in before beating it.Then we put it in are tins and put it in the oven. When we got it out the oven we had to spread the jam ,then we had to to stick them both togother .Finally we dug in and it was delicious.!!!

Our success criteria:we had to decide if we thought it was a irreversible and reversible .we found out that it was irreversible .

Perfect Pizza by Kade Forward

November 4th, 2009 by mrfranklinsouthparade in Uncategorized · No Comments

Today on the 4th November 2009 we made pizzas. At first we had some flour then we poured hot water on the flour. The water just rested on top of the flour. Then we mixed them together with a wooden spoon they then mixed and turned into dough so now the flour and water is dough. After a couple of minutes of mixing we rolled the dough into a ball . Afterwards we put the flour all over the doe then we got the rolling pin and rolled the doe into a pizza shape then we added some tomato sauce, a little bit of cheese and 5 pieces of pepperoni. After that we put them in the oven and 20 minutes later we ate them. Mr Jessup said it was gorgeous!
